Our Story
It started as a dream.
Coffee on the Rock started as just a dream in 2021 when Shandra was on vacation visiting her home in Statia. She was supposed to be visiting for just three weeks, which turned into three months, and during that time she missed being able to go into coffee shops to people-watch, journal, or work, while enjoying a cup of coffee.
In His time.
She has no doubt that this seed of an idea was planted in her by God Himself and was reminded throughout this journey that nothing happens before its time, much like Isaiah 60:22 states.

Coffee on the Rock is a curated space specifically designed with humanity at the forefront. Our goal is, and will always be, to create an environment that allows us to connect and create a sense of community within a shared space.
Care in every detail.
Shandra didn’t want to offer anything basic. Instead, she wanted to give her community and its visitors an elevated experience. She spent years doing research to ensure that she would be able to provide quality offerings in the coffee shop by carefully reading labels, sourcing responsibly, and committing to love always being the main ingredient.
